Press the Menu button on your television's remote. Look for a section labeled Color Temperature. It will list presets with labels such as Warm and Cool. Change the color temperature setting to Warm . Some TVs will instead list color temperature in degrees Kelvin, such as 6500K or 5700K. Adjust the TV to a setting below 5000K.

Okay, I have a Toshiba 5OL1400U tv, and lately it started acting up, the corners of the screen darkening to where it is hard to see the picture. So I look it up, wondering what it could be, and everything points to the backlight, either it is burned out, or something is wrong with the power supply board giving power to the backlight.
1. Switching on the Tv Check that the TV is enabled by clicking the power button with the remote or the setā€™s front panel. Ensure the component youā€™re using is switched on (Xbox, Cable, SAT, ROKU ). 2. Right Cables and Cords Double-check that all cables and cords are firmly attached to the television inputs and component outputs. The battery/power LED contineously flash a few time, pause over and over, does not respond to anything, power button, plug in power supply or anything. The only solution I found is disconnect the battery and reconnect, that fixes it for a few months and it happens all over again. The trouble with that is, the battery is inbuilt. 2. Remove All Signal Cables. Thereā€™s a strong possibility that a poorly seated cable is creating signal noise which is displaying as a half dark screen, and is also a common cause of horizontal lines in Toshiba TVs.
